Bridgeport-based People’s United Bank named Jared Shaw senior vice president of investor relations and mergers and acquisitions. Shaw will serve as liaison to the investment community and will be an integral part of the team evaluating potential acquisitions.
Previously, Shaw worked in the Hartford office of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, the New York-based investment banking firm specializing in banking and financial services. Â
Shaw was listed among the top analysts on the Institutional Investor “All American Research Team” and was ranked third in the 2007 Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street” analyst survey. He is a graduate of George Washington University.
