Pearce names top Q1 performers

Pearce Real Estate has announced the winners of the firm’s 2019 1st Quarter Achievement Awards. Eileen Smith and Vin Masotta of Pearce’s North Haven/Wallingford regional office were cited for top sales performance for the quarter. Also, Edgehill Realtors from Pearce’s New Haven office were recognized for first-quarter performance. The award is granted each quarter to Realtors with the highest production based on a points system.

TRANSACTIONS

MS Investments LLC has purchased 147 Westbrook Rd., Essex. The 9,000-square-foot multi-tenant medical building, anchored by Middlesex Hospital Primary Care, was sold as an investment property for $2,075,000. Phil Gagnon, SIOR of Colliers International represented MS Investments in the transaction.

The Bridgeport Rescue Mission has purchased the former Astoria Park Nursing Home at 725 Park Ave., Bridgeport for $2,150,000. The mission will use the property to house its new community care center. The property is a five-story, 61,344-square-foot building on 1.29 acres. Jon Angel of Angel Commercial LLC in Southport was sole broker in the transaction.
