The owner of a Stamford-based paving company has purchased a one-story, 5,132-square-foot warehouse in Norwalk for $1.14 million, according to land records.
Joseph M. Grasso Jr., of Fairfield, doing business as Van Tassell LLC, has bought the building, which sits on a 0.15-acre parcel at 8 Van Tassel Court, from Kristrun Romano, of Norwalk, and the estate of John C. Romano, doing business as 10 Van Tassel Court LLC.
Grasso is the CEO of Grasso Companies, a business that provides paving, road construction and demolition services. He did not return emails seeking comment on the warehouse purchase.
The building, which was constructed in 1946, was appraised at $858,070 and assessed at $600,650 in 2023, according to property records.
