New England Patriots legends Steve Grogan and Troy Brown will help formally launch the opening Wednesday of Webster Bank’s Boston office.
Waterbury-based Webster in early November conducted a low-key opening of its first banking office outside Connecticut. The office has 16 employees in retail banking and commercial lending services.
As quarterback, Grogan led the then Boston Patriots to five playoff appearances during 16 seasons from 1975 until his retirement in 1990.
Brown is a former Pro Bowl receiver and cornerback who in 2008 ended his 15-year Pats career as the team’s all-time receiver.
Both will sign autographs from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the office at 100 Franklin St.
