Pastore named president of Pearce R.E.

Nanette Pastore has been promoted to president of Pearce Real Estate. In that position she succeeds Barbara L. Pearce, who continues as chairman and CEO of the North Haven-based company.

“Over the 25 years that Nanette has been with Pearce she always successfully handled more and more responsibility as it was given to her,” said Pearce in a statement. “I have been so happy to mentor her all these years and am proud to have her achieve this level of accomplishment and responsibility, and know that Nanette will embrace it.” 

Barbara Pearce is the second-generation principal of the business founded by her father, Herbert H. Pearce, in 1958. Barbara Pearce has taken a year’s sabbatical from Pearce Real Estate to serve as interim CEO of Connecticut Hospice.

Pearce Real Estate is a local, independently owned, full-service real estate company with more than 100 agents and eight offices in the greater New Haven and shoreline areas.

TRANSACTIONS

Yale University has renewed its lease of 11,065 square feet of space on the second floor of One Church St., New Haven for a five-year term. Sue Cascio of Yale University represented the tenant in the transaction, while the Proto Group of North Haven represented the landlord, Church Street Property LLC.

Flagship Press Inc. of North Andover, Mass. has leased 8,919 square feet for a three-year term at 61 Giles Ave., North Haven from DFC of Giles Avenue LLC. Flagship will use the space for digital printing, offset printing, web-to-print, prepress and other printing services. Jeff Poor or Flagship negotiated the lease on behalf of the tenant, which was represented by the Proto Group. Mike Boyarsky of Welco Realty represented the landlord.

St. Michael’s Church has sold its former convent, nursery school and grade school at 234, 240 and 250 Greene St., New Haven, to GR Realty Associates LLC. Total price for the three properties as $1.2 million. The Proto Group of North Haven represented the buyer in the transaction.

VBrick Systems is relocating from Wallingford to 7,145 square feet of newly leased office space at 127 Washington Ave., North Haven. The company in March signed a five-year lease for the space with a value of $800,000. Stephen Longobardi represented the landlord in the transaction while the Proto Group LLC of North Haven represented VBrick Systems.

Emien, LLC has leased 801 square feet at 100 S. Shore Dr., East Haven for 12 months for use as a cosmetics research laboratory and bottle-filling facility. Representing the landlord, 100 South Shore LLC, the Proto Group of North Haven was sole broker in the transaction.
