The CT Blockchain Association has named Troy A. Paredes a strategic advisor.
He will provide consulting on matters relating to blockchain, finance and strategy.
Paredes is the founder of Paredes Strategies LLC, and from 2008 to 2013, he was a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission commissioner, appointed by President George W. Bush. He advises on financial regulation, compliance, risk management, corporate governance and regulatory strategy.
He also serves as an expert and advisor in regulatory enforcement investigations, and in private litigation involving securities law and corporate law.
