Frances G. Padilla has been named president of the Universal Health Care Foundation of Connecticut in Meriden.
She has been with the Foundation since 2004 and has served as its executive vice president, heading up its policy and research work in addition to overseeing the operation of the organization.
The Foundation is embarking on a new five-year strategic initiative, which includes the launch of a new statewide public outreach, education and engagement effort as well as an initiative to build regional and national support for advancing health reform in Connecticut.
