Pennsylvania retailer Boscov’s says it is casting for hundreds of full- and part-time workers for its new Meriden department store opening in October.
Starting Monday through Oct. 2, Boscov’s said it will have a hiring center inside Westfield Meriden Mall, 470 Lewis Ave., on the first level, near Macy’s. The center will open Mondays through Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Fridays, it will open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Hiring will cover associates for women’s and men’s apparel, shoes and accessories; cosmetics; home décor and furniture; receiving/stock marking; courtesy desk; and loss prevention.
The retailer also says it will hire a public relations manager.
Those who cannot get to the hiring center in person may email a resume to careers@boscovs.com.
Founded 101 years ago, Boscov’s says Meriden will house its first New England store, located in JC Penney’s former space.
