Oxford Performance Materials names two senior execs

South Windsor 3-D printing manufacturer Oxford Performance Materials has promoted 11-year veteran Tony DeCarmine to chief technology officer and hired entrepreneur and consultant Bernie Plishtin as chief business development officer.

DeCarmine has held a number of roles at OPM since 2003, including director of application development and technical director. His new role gives him responsibility over advancing OPM’s technologies.

Plishtin has worked on a consulting basis for OPM for the past two years. He previously co-founded SageBrook Partners, an M&A and strategic advisory practice. He has also managed a Massachusetts company that was later acquired by IMAX Corp., which hired him as a vice president. He previously worked as a healthcare consultant for Bain & Co.
