South Windsor’s Oxford Performance Materials Inc. has named two division presidents.
Severine Zygmont, whose most recent title was chief operating officer, has been named president of OPM’s biomedical division, the company said.
Meanwhile, OPM hired Paul Martin as president of its aerospace and industrial division.
Zygmont, who has a master’s degree in chemical engineering, is a company founder and also serves on its board of directors. The division she now leads manufactures medical devices using OPM’s additive manufacturing, or 3-D printing, technology. The devices include orthopedic and neurological implants.
Martin, who has a master’s degree in engineering and has performed flight tests for the U.S. Air Force and Federal Aviation Administration, formerly held executive positions at Lockheed Martin Skunk Works and Sikorsky Aircraft. Most recently he was CEO of Woodbury Management Group. He has been on OPM’s board since Feb. 2013.
The division he leads 3-D prints aerospace and industrial parts designed to equal the performance of certain machined aluminum components at lower cost and weight, according to the company.
