The owners of a Norwalk bakery have bought a vacant retail property on Darien’s Post Road for $1.1 million, according to land records.
408 Darien Post Rd LLC, controlled by Shpetim Topi and Angela Papetti, of Darien, have bought the vacant 1,485-square-foot, one-story building, at 408 Boston Post Road. Topi and Papetti, a married couple, are the co-owners of Wave Hill Breads, which operates a wholesale bakery and standalone cafe in Norwalk, according to the business’ website.
Messages left with the couple were not immediately returned.
The seller of the building, which was built in 1952 and sits on a 0.43-acre parcel, is Patricia Eberle, of Westport. She bought the property, which was formerly the home of A Head of Time Hair Designs, in 2010.
The building was appraised at $1.22 million and assessed at $852,670 in 2024.
