A 19th-century-era industrial warehouse in Stamford has been sold to the owner of a local demolition services company.
The three-story industrial warehouse at 415 Fairfield Ave., dates back to the 1890s.
It was sold by 415 Fairfield Ave. LLC and principal Thomas Smith Sr., to CT Commercial Realty LLC and principal Stephen Goldblum for $1.8 million in a deal recorded Nov. 27.
According to city land records, Goldblum is affiliated with Trumbull-based Demolition Services, and is the owner of the Stamford Wrecking Company.
Goldblum could not be reached for comment, and there are no pending or approved land use applications filed with the city for this property, according to the Stamford Land Use Bureau.
The building was formerly occupied by the Bronx Bar Supply Co. Inc. and PFK Landscaping.
According to a historic mill property preservation group, in the early 1900s, the building was part of the larger Baer Bros. Paint company complex at 415-445 Fairfield Ave.
