The owner of a Westport-based plumbing business has purchased a two-story commercial building in Fairfield for $1.2 million, according to the town’s land records.
158 Kenwood LLC, controlled by Frank Calise, of Westport, bought the 9,750-square-foot building at 158 Kenwood Ave. The property is classified as a service shop in Fairfield’s property records.
Calls to Calise, the owner of Westport Plumbing & Heating in Westport, were not immediately returned.
The seller was DeForest Raptor LLC, controlled by Timothy Hawkes and Cynthia DeForest, of Westport. They bought the building for $700,000 in 2019, property records stated.
The building, which was built in 1955, is appraised at $1.14 million and assessed at $795,830.
It is currently occupied by Mountain Workshop, which organizes class trips and retreats for schools, according to its website.
