Angela Mattie is the chair and associate professor of Quinnipiac University’s department of healthcare management and organizational leadership. She holds an appointment at the medical school at Quinnipiac.
She serves on several boards including Connecticut’s Health Information Technology Exchange of Connecticut advisory committee, the Regional Advisory Committee of The Connecticut Chapter of The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and the Yale-New Haven Hospital Community Council. She is the 2012 recipient of the Distinguished Faculty/Advisor Award from CT ACHE and the 2013 Center of Excellence Award from Quinnipiac University.
Mattie received her Master’s Degree in Public Health, (M.P.H.) with distinction from Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Epidemiology and Public Health; a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) at the University Of Connecticut School Of Law; and an undergraduate degree, summa cum laude from Quinnipiac University.
Ellen Andrews has been executive director of the CT Health Policy Project from its inception in 1999. The Project is a non-partisan, non-profit organization working to improve affordable, quality health care for every Connecticut resident.
The Project publishes regular policymaker issue briefs, conducts research on Connecticut health policy needs, hosts issue briefings for policymakers with health care experts, and provides updates on state health policy through the CT Health Notes Blog.
Andrews serves on over a dozen regional, state and local health policy committees, councils and boards. Andrews’ prior experience includes positions as Connecticut state legislative staff on health policy, non-profit health care advocacy, perinatal educator at a New Haven community health center, and academic teaching and research. She holds a PhD in Human Genetics from Yale University.
Patricia Baker was named president & CEO of the Connecticut Health Foundation (CT Health) in March 2002 after serving as executive director since CT Health was established in July 1999.
Immediately prior, Patricia served as the national program director for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation and as director of Connecticut government programs at Oxford Health Plans.
The long-time women’s health advocate also served as executive director of Planned Parenthood of Connecticut, associate executive director of Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, and executive director of The Women’s Center in southeastern Wisconsin.
