Farmington elevator manufacturing and maintenance company Otis Worldwide Corp. has been tapped to install elevators in what will be Canada’s tallest building.
Otis will provide 23 elevators for “The ONE” building in Toronto, a mixed-use residential/commercial building that will be more than 1,000 feet tall upon completion, according to Otis. The project is expected to be complete in late 2022 or early 2023.
Otis will install 11 SkyRise elevators capable of rising at rapid speeds, said Jim Cramer, president of Otis Americas.Â
