Farmington elevator maker Otis Worldwide Corp. has appointed two new presidents to lead the company’s efforts in specific regions, the company announced today.
Tracy Embree is taking over as president of Otis Americas and Enrique Miñarro Viseras is becoming president of Otis Europe, Middle East and Africa. Both will begin their new posts Oct. 1, and begin reporting directly to Otis Chair, CEO and President Judy Marks.
Embree is succeeding outgoing president Jim Cramer, and Miñarro Viseras will take over for president Bernardo Calleja, both of whom are set to retire from the company early next year, according to Otis. Marks said the two outgoing presidents will assist with the transition over the next several weeks.

Embree has spent the last 23 years working for manufacturer Cummins Inc., most recently serving as the company’s vice president and president of their distribution business. Prior to working there, Embree held engineering and operations roles at Colgate-Palmolive, according to information from Otis.
Meantime, Miñarro Viseras brings almost 20 years of global, commercial and operational management experience working with Ingersoll Rand, formerly Gardner Denver, and Emerson.
