Hartford-based Operation Fuel said it will start taking applications for heating fuel assistance on Nov. 30.
The nonprofit has a statewide network of fuel banks that provide heating subsidies to lower-income residents, the elderly and the disabled who need help but are not eligible for government-funded energy assistance.
Operation Fuel distributed $3.1 million in grants and assistance in fiscal year 2014, according to its most recently available financials on Guidestar.com.
