‘One Big Summer Night’ gala raise $130,000 for Hartford Public Library

Hartford Public Library and its supporters recently celebrated the library’s annual ‘One Big Summer Night’ gala at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. The event, sponsored by Connecticut Light & Power and chaired by Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman, raised close to $130,000 to support quality public education. Arianna Huffington, president and editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post Media Group, was the featured speaker.
