Appriss Inc. has acquired Old Saybrook’s Deep River LLC, a provider a vehicle crash reports, the Kentucky company announced.
Hundreds of law enforcement agencies in New England use Deep River’s e-commerce services and tools to analyze crash data, study trends and develop strategies for reducing accidents in busy area, Appriss said.
Deep River founding partners Dave Sistare, Dan Schuessler and Mike Knizeski said in a statement that the deal will help them grow the business.
Appriss also announced the purchase of a Michigan crash reporting firm. It said the two deals grow by about one-third the network of law enforcement agencies it works with, to nearly 4,000.
