The more than 13,000 employees of the Connecticut Energy Marketers Association’s membership on Tuesday became eligible for a 5 percent discount on their auto insurance.
The Cromwell-based CEMA, which represents home heating fuel dealers and gasoline stations, signed the deal with GoodWorks Insurance of Glastonbury to provide the workers of its 500 business members the discount from Nationwide Insurance.
Bantam Home & Energy in Bantam is the first CEMA to offer the program to its employees. Workers don’t have to sign up for the insurance discount, but it is offered if they want it.
