Office building in Wallingford sells for $1.2M

A web design company recently purchased a 23,634-square-foot office building in Wallingford for $1.2 million.

Web Solutions Inc., which was established in 1996, does customized website design, digital marketing and software development. The company previously was based in Meriden, but has moved its corporate headquarters to its new property, on a 4.49-acre parcel at 5 Brookside Dr., Wallingford.

The building was previously owned and occupied by the American Heart Association Inc. 

Mark Berkowitz of O,R&L Commercial, LLC represented the buyer in the deal, while David Barnes of CBRE, NE represented the seller.

Boat accessory business leases Killingworth space

14 Route 80 in Killingworth

Powers Enterprises LLC, whose business Arrigoni Design makes products for the boating industry, has leased 7,200 square feet of space at 14 Route 80 in Killingworth.

The business, launched in 1994, makes custom cabinetry and other boating accessories such as tables, seats and swim platforms. It is a larger facility for the business, long based in Clinton.

The lease is for five years. Financial terms were not disclosed. The space had previously been used as a woodworking facility.

Kevin Geenty and Kristin Geenty were the brokers for the landlord, JHL Enterprises, LLC. Matthew D’Andrea of Newmark in Stamford represented the tenant in the deal.
