• CONCORA artistic director Richard Coffey was presented with the lifetime achievement award. Coffey is founder of CONCORA and the music director of the Hartford Chorale.
• Lenscrafters sponsored the Gift of Sight program in which 2,000 children in the Hartford Public Schools were examined and equipped with a free pair of eye glasses.
• The Connecticut Department of Labor’s division of occupational safety and health won an on site consultation achievement recognition award for its successful safety consultation program for private and public sector companies.
