• The Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants recognized Charles J. Frago with the meritorious service award for his contributions to the accounting profession.
• The Asnuntuck Community College board of trustees presented Mark Rosen of Bloomfield with a merit award for his lifetime commitment to the college.
• Northeast Lamp Recycling Inc. in East Windsor received the GreenCircle Award from the State of Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection. NLR was recognized for its mercury containing lamp, e-waste, battery, ballast and mercury containing device recycling efforts.
