The following high school seniors were awarded scholarships by the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Hartford: Sarah Robertson, Justin Callis, Meredith Rothstein and Andrea Rosenfield, all of Hall High School in West Hartford. The program is offering over $90,000 in scholarships this year to local seniors.
The Blue Cross Blue and Blue Shield Association named Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford a Blue Center of Distinction for Cardiac Care. This title is only granted to hospitals that provide inpatient care, cardiac rehabilitation, cardiac catheterization, angioplasty and cardiac surgery.
