• Keiler & Co. in Farmington was named a top 50 business to business agency for 2006 by Crain Communications through B to B Magazine. Finalists are selected based on outstanding work, percentage of business that is business to business, client wins and demonstrated growth of business.
• The Children’s Museum in West Hartford received a $32,300 grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s 2007 Healthy Communities grant program. The museum will be involved in a Park River watershed program with the Farmington River Watershed Association and the Park River Watershed Revitalization Initiative.
• The U.S. Department of Labor awarded Capital Workforce Partners in Hartford with a Recognition of Excellence award in the “Building an Industry/Business-Driven Workforce Investment System” category at the national 2007 Workforce Innovations conference.
