• Nicholas J. Harding, attorney at Reid and Riege in Hartford, was listed as a “notable practitioner” by Chambers and Partners. He was noted in the law firm guide as a “fearless and interestingly creative litigator.”

• Saint Joseph College in West Hartford received a $2,000 health services grant from Consolidated Health Plans. Funding will go toward first-year and transfer student health and wellness education.

 

• The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving awarded a three-year, $300,000 grant to the Shelter for Women Inc. in Hartford. The grant will help the organization provide therapeutic, educational and life skills training for troubled women ages 12 to 21.
