Bay Path College President Carol A. Leary was honored June 9 by the Massachusetts American Council on Education — National Network for Women Leaders (ACE-NNWL) for her leadership in higher education and her efforts in promoting the advancement of women in the field.

Todd Sleeman, a West Hartford resident and certified prosthetist, is headed to Haiti where he will provide essential prosthetic care to Haitian amputees injured in the Jan. 12 earthquake. Sleeman, a practitioner with Hanger Prosthetics & Orthotics, will join the clinical team at the Hanger prosthetics clinic at the Hôpital Albert Schweitzer, an undamaged local hospital located 60 miles from Port-au-Prince in Deschapelles, Haiti.
