The $22 million facility, which opened in September 2008, includes five dance studios, four theatre rehearsal studios, three vocal studios, and two black box theatres, as well as faculty offices, a café, a bank branch, and a community room. Awards received to date include the 2009 Hartford Preservation Alliance Award; the Connecticut Real Estate Exchange award for adaptive reuse; the 2009 Connecticut Preservation Award from the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation; and the Connecticut Main Street Center 2009 Award of Excellence for adaptive reuse.
