A window and door company has purchased a vacant industrial building in Clinton for $2.55 million to support its U.S. operations, according to brokerage firm O,R&L Commercial.
Schonline Windows & Doors, which has its U.S. base in New York City, acquired the 41,825-square-foot facility at 9 Heritage Park Road from Seidman Realty LLC. The property sits on approximately 4.12 acres.
The building has six loading docks, ceiling clearance ranging from 19.6 to 23.6 feet, and space for parking and outdoor storage, the brokerage said.
Founded in 1989, Schonline supplies window, door and sliding systems to international markets. The acquisition gives the company additional space along Connecticut’s shoreline, near Interstate 95 and Route 1, according to O,R&L Commercial, which helped broker the deal.
O,R&L Commercial’s Sam Crampton represented the buyer, while James Panczykowski of JLL’s Stamford office represented the seller.
