A New York-based high-end logistics company has purchased a Southington property for $3.3M where it plans to launch operations in Connecticut.
The AirSea Packing Group, which provides white-glove delivery, storage and installation of luxury goods including furniture and fine art, this month purchased the property at 29 Depaolo Drive.
The company said it will redevelop the building into an 85,000-square-foot state-of-the art facility that will offer myriad services, including temperature-controlled storage.
The company will also offer delivery services to domestic and international locations, weekly sea freight transport services to London and Paris, and weekly shuttles from and to New York and other major U.S. cities, it said.Â
Established in 1966 in London, Â The AirSea Packing Group has operations in Atlanta, New York, Miami, Dallas, Washington D.C, Chicago, Phoenix and Los Angeles, it said.
