🔒NY investor adds to rapidly growing Waterbury apartments portfolio with $3.95M buy

A New York-based investor recently paid $3.95 million to add a 32-unit apartment complex to his rapidly growing portfolio of properties in Waterbury. Yitzchok Kaufman has invested heavily in Waterbury and surrounding communities in recent years. His latest acquisition is a 32-unit, 1988-vintage apartment complex and 14.1 associated acres at 0 and 669 Waterville St. in Waterbury. The four buildings in the complex range from 7,176 to 10,700 square feet. The seller, Montvale, New Jersey-based Valley View Apartments CT LLC, acquired the complex for $1.48 million in 2021. The seller’s principals are Zvi Horowitz and a Delaware-registered limited liability company listed to the same Montvale address as Horowitz.
