NY buyer paying $131M for CT vehicle title firm

A New York car-sales software maker is paying $131 million cash for a Groton firm that helps lenders and car dealers manage vehicle titles and registrations, Newsday reports.

DealerTrack Holdings Inc., of Lake Success, N.Y., has agreed to buy triVIN Holdings Inc., of Groton.

TriVIN’s business complements that of DealerTrack, whose software systems connect car dealers with a range of loan choices for vehicle buyers.
