Nutmeg State Federal Credit Union will open Wednesday a branch location at 995 West Main St. in New Britain.
New Britain Mayor Tim Stewart is due to be on hand for the opening of the office being relocated from 55 Curtis St., the Rocky Hill credit union said.
To celebrate the new branch, Nutmeg State Federal said its representatives will be in the vicinity handing out gift cards redeemable with local merchants for discounted gasoline and other merchandise.
The $350 million-asset credit union has six branches serving 26,000 members who are employees of Stanley Black & Decker, AT&T and other companies and professional groups.
