Rocky Hill-based Nutmeg State Federal Credit Union will open its first mobile branch on Dec. 6.
The full-service mobile branch will make its first stop at 9 a.m. Dec. 6 at Illing Middle School in Manchester and its second stop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Newington Price Chopper.
The bus will provide ATM services, along with personnel who can help customers open accounts, apply for loans, and access any other service from a traditional branch.

Beyond visit high-profile community venues, the mobile branch will serve in disaster relief situations. The bus has its own generator and cell towers.
