Hartford energy provider Northeast Utilities Inc. announced Tuesday an increase in its dividend.
The parent of Connecticut Light & Power, Yankee Gas and other utilities declared a dividend of 27.5 cents a share to be paid March 31 to stockholders of record as of March 1.
The previous annualized dividend was $1.025 a share.
