NU promotes top execs

Hartford and Boston-based Northeast Utilities said it has promoted three executives from its utility subsidiaries in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Bill Quinlan, a senior vice president of emergency preparedness at Connecticut Light & Power who served as the utility’s spokesman during Superstorm Sandy, will assume the role of president and COO of Public Service of New Hampshire.

Peter Clarke, president and COO of Western Massachusetts Electric Co., will become senior vice president of emergency preparedness for Northeast Utilities.

And Craig Hallstrom, president of NStar Electric, will also become president of WMECo.
