Northeast Utilities has promoted two of its executives into newly created positions that it says will improve the company’s operational structure.
Robert Bersak, assistant secretary for both NU and its subsidiary Public Service of New Hampshire, now holds the title of chief regulatory counsel. He is based in New Hampshire.
Ron Smith, former director of internal audit and security, has been promoted to vice president of internal audit and security. He is based in Berlin.
