Berlin-based Northeast Utilities has appointed Leon J. Olivier executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Since he joined NU in 1998, Olivier has held a series of appointments within the company including president of NU Transmission, president and COO of The Connecticut Light & Power Co. and senior vice president and chief nuclear officer of the Northeast Nuclear Energy Co.
Olivier has an MBA from Northeastern University and an honorary doctorate degree in public service from Bridgewater State College.
