North Branford label manufacturer Brook & Whittle has named industry veteran Mark Pollard its new CEO.
Pollard succeeds Don Sturdivant, operating partner for Snow Phipps Group, the New York-based private equity firm that acquired Brook & Whittle last October.
The company makes pressure sensitive labels, shrink labels and medical packaging at production facilities in North Branford, Guilford and Amherst, N.Y.
“After a thorough and deliberate selection process, the Board of Directors is delighted that Mark will lead Brook & Whittle as we navigate the growing and evolving label landscape,” said Sturdivant, who will remain at the company as chairman. “We are confident he is the right person to lead Brook & Whittle through a critical period of growth.”
Pollard spent most of this career with UPM Raflatac, described as a leading global supplier of materials for the pressure-sensitive label markets.
He served most recently as a senior vice president for the company’s global films business and the America region, Brook & Whittle said. He has also held key management roles in strategy development, sales and marketing, IT and supply chain, the company said.
