Industrial property in North Branford occupied by manufacturer Brook + Whittle changed hands recently in a $5,475,000 deal.
The transaction included two buildings totaling 56,085 square feet on 4.42 acres at 254-260 Branford Rd., North Branford.
Brook + Whittle, which makes shrink-sleeve and heat-transfer labels for the beverage, home care, personal care, food, nutraceutical, wine, spirits, and craft beer markets, is a long-term tenant at the site. The Guilford-based company has locations in Connecticut and around the country.
Mark Berkowitz of O,R&L Commercial represented the buyer, Burech Glauber and Abraham Silberstein of Silver Properties. Frank Hird, SIOR of O,R&L Commercial and Mark Duclos, SIOR of Sentry Commercial, represented the seller, Branford Realty II LLC.Â
Duclos and Hird co-listed the property because of their work together through the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).Â

Hamden investment property nets $675K
A Hamden apartment building with six residential units recently sold for $675,000.
Altshuler Investments DE LLC, which is based in Delaware, purchased the property at 97 Webb St. on Dec. 12.
Stephen Press, SIOR, co-principal of Press/Cuozzo Commercial Services in Hamden, was the sole broker. According to Press, the new owner is using it as an investment property.
The seller, Homestead LLC, had owned the brick, six-unit building since 2004.Â
