The United Bank Foundation Connecticut recently presented the Greater Hartford Arts Council with a $12,250 check for continued support of the Arts Council's Big Red for the Arts event, which benefits arts organizations and programs throughout the region.

The University of St. Joseph and Urban Alliance received a $30,000 grant from the Farmington Bank Community Foundation to support More than Food, a framework that helps food pantries with more capacity-building resources in addition to short-term food supplies to help address the root causes of hunger.
