The Bridge Family Center in West Hartford has been awarded a $300,000 general operating support grant by the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving. The grant will give the Bridge flexibility to explore infrastructure enhancements and new programming to meet community needs.

Ädelbrook, a behavioral and developmental agency based in Cromwell, recently received a $5,000 grant from the Thomas J. Atkins Memorial Trust Fund. The grant will provide communications tools for youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder served by Ädelbrook.

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation awarded $263,197 to Connecticut nonprofits in 2016. In total, nearly $2.5 million in grants were made to more than 900 nonprofit organizations in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

The National Conference for Community and Justice of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts received a two-year, $100,000 grant from the Aetna Foundation as part of the Cultivating Healthy Communities program.
