A New Jersey-based carrier truck company says it’s leased 49,438 square feet of warehouse space in Cheshire that will become its first location in Connecticut.
Globus Express LLC, of Wayne, N.J., recently leased roughly half of the 97,065-square-foot industrial facility at 615 West Johnson Ave., from owner W Johnson LLC, CEO Viktor Kolarski said in an interview Wednesday.
Globus will begin operating at the site later this month, employing up to three people. It employs approximately 20 across its four locations in New Jersey, Connecticut and New York, Kolarski said.
The Cheshire space was previously occupied by Tropicana Products Inc., he added.
Broker Sentry Commercial represented Globus Express and Newmark Knight Frank represented the landlord in the deal.
