A Newington-based printing-equipment supplier has been sold to a private equity firm.
MKM Importers Inc. has been purchased by the Righting Group LLC, according to New Haven-based M&A firm Woodbridge, which represented MKM in the deal.
Transaction terms weren’t disclosed.
MKM Importers is a supplier of pre-owned printing presses and binding equipment. The company lists its headquarters at 152 Rockwell Road, in Newington. MKM primarily supplies the packaging industry and select large commercial printers in North America, according to Woodbridge.
“After more than three decades of building MKM into the industry’s trusted source for premium equipment, the time is right to bring in leadership that can take MKM to new heights,” said founder Mark Marino.
According to its LinkedIn page, Righting Group LLC is a Tampa, Florida-based buyer of middle-market businesses.
