Newington-based CT Home Generator Systems will open a new indoor backyard showroom on June 13 to give residents an idea of what a generator installation would look like.
CT Home Generator Systems was launched in 2011 by Newington Electric Co. owner Ed Ingalls after the power outages that year drove up demand for generators that could provide power during blackouts.
The 12,000-square-foot showroom at 72 Pane Road in Newington also encompasses Newington Electric and CT Electric Car, which is Engall’s business for installing electric vehicle chargers.
The grand opening will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 13 and feature give-aways for discounted generators.
