Newington portable power provider CT Home Generator Systems on Wednesday announced it had secured an exclusive deal with retailer Home Depot.
CT Home Generator will be the exclusive installer and service provider for every Generac generator sold at 11 of the 18 Home Depot stores in Connecticut.
The deal comes a month after the Newington company acquired the generator services division of Acorn Bernier Electric in Clinton, which also was a Generac dealer. Financial terms were not disclosed.
CORRECTION:Â A previous version of this story incorrectly stated CT Home Generator had acquired Acorn Bernier, when it had only purchased the generator services division.
