Newest Woman Advocate for Youth

The Children’s Home of Cromwell honored Saint Joseph College Professor of Economics and International Studies Shyamala Raman, Ph.D. by inducting her as the newest member of The WAY (Women Advocates for Youth) during the group’s recent anniversary celebration. The WAY consists of women of influence and concern who have joined together as an advocacy group to provide opportunities, role modeling and assistance in the shaping of services for young girls at The Children’s Home in Cromwell. Through endeavors supported by The WAY, young women are encouraged to develop their own self-worth and reach their full potential.
