A New York-based electrical contractor has purchased a two-story commercial building in Greenwich for $1.43 million.
Eighteen Beech Properties LLC, controlled by Francisco Javier Barajas Galvan, of New York, bought the 7,388-square-foot building at 18 Beech St. in mid-April, according to town property and land records.
Galvan owns JBG Electrical Corp., which he founded in New Rochelle, New York, in 2018. He said the company plans to use the Greenwich property as a second location, giving it better access to Connecticut customers. The business, which has 20 employees, will keep some trucks and equipment at the site, he said.
The sellers were Jean Giagnorio Ruel and John Joseph Giagnorio Jr., executors of the estate of John Giagnorio.
The building sits on 0.27 acres and was built in 1900. It is appraised at $1.18 million and assessed at $826,350.
