A new restaurant serving everything from brunch to late-night cocktails is set to debut next week at the former Jar + Bar eatery in West Hartford, the owners announced.
Americana Restaurant & Bar, owned by restaurateurs Julie and Enrique Rodriguez of the Rodriguez Restaurant Group, is set to open April 21 at 179 Park Road, West Hartford.
According to the restaurant’s website, Americana will feature a bar with a dozen draft choices, cocktails and bottled beverages, and serve a plethora of American comfort food options and items such as pasta, steak, burgers and tacos.
The facility has indoor and outdoor seating options to host more than 150 people at a time and the restaurant also has space for private parties and events.
The restaurant has typical hours of operation for lunch, dinner and drinks, but brunch is also a focus at Americana. According to the company’s website, brunch will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays.
To kick off business next week during the grand opening, Americana is offering all-day happy hour options and prices on April 21. This isn’t the Rodriguez’ first restaurant endeavor — the couple owns multiple restaurants within Parkville Market in Hartford and the Assembly Room in New Britain, two popular food halls in the state.
According to the company’s Facebook page, they have been hiring to prepare for opening day for the past several months.
