A real estate investment firm is looking to rebuild a new multifamily property that has direct access to the shoreline in Milford.
Sea Shell LLC, an affiliate of Fortitude Capital LLC, is proposing the Sea Shell Residences, a four-story, 20-unit apartment complex with parking at 25 Shell Ave.
The property currently has a four-story, multifamily apartment building, which would be demolished.
The building will have 16 spaces of ground level parking, with three floors of apartments above, containing a mixture of one- and two-bedroom units, all of which have balconies. The building also has a fourth-floor amenities room and roof decks.
The second and third floors have eight units each; four one-bedroom and four two-bedroom units. The fourth floor has four units, all of which are two-bedroom units with balconies and rooftop decks.
The complex has six units deemed affordable, all of which are on the second and third floors, according to the site plans, which are under review by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
A total of 36 parking spaces are provided, along with kayak storage on the beach, and a bike rack between the seawall and building.
